Abstract: In view of the corrosion problem of oil and gas pipelines, the research status, corrosion mechanism and corrosion law of CO₂ corrosion and H₂S corrosion in oil and gas pipelines are introduced. The problems in the research of CO₂ and H₂S synergistic corrosion are analyzed. The common pipeline anti-corrosion methods are introduced, such as adding corrosion inhibitor, using corrosion-resistant alloy steel, applying electrochemical anti-corrosion technology and coat the inner coating of pipeline, etc. The research progress and existing problems of those methods are summarized.
