Abstract: Generic aging lessons learned (GALL) report was issued by U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) to guide the license renewal application review for nuclear power plants. It was regarded as the important basis for nuclear power plants to conduct aging management and license renewal application. After the publication of the 2nd version of GALL Report in 2010, based on the new experiences obtained during the review of the license renewal application, 10 interim staff guidance (ISG) documents for nuclear power plants were published by NRC to revise the GALL report. By in-depth investigation of these 10 ISG documents, the revised content of GALL report was summarized, the new aging management objects, techniques and demands were analyzed and the effects of the license renewal experience feedback on the aging management practice of domestic nuclear power plants were also evaluated. The contents of this paper would provide strong technical support and experience reference for the practice of aging management, periodic safety review and license renewal application of domestic nuclear power plants.
