Abstract:
The influence and mechanism of polyacrylic acid (PAA) on the dispersibility of CuO and CaCO
3 were studied using a spectrophotometer, ICP-OES, Zeta potential, and infrared spectroscopy. The results show that when the mass ratio of CuO/PAA was 100 mg/kg, PAA had the best dispersion effect on CuO suspension, and when the mass ratio of CaCO
3/PAA was 1 mg/kg, PAA had a better dispersion effect on CaCO
3 suspension. When the pH of the solution was 3, PAA adsorbed on the surface of CuO in a monodentate mode, and when the pH of the solution was 8, PAA adsorbed on the surface of CuO in a tilted bidentate bridging manner.
