Abstract:
The service life prediction of anti-corrosion coatings for marine equipment is of great guiding significance for coating selection and whole-life cycle maintenance of equipment. However, the service life of coatings is affected by the coupling of multiple factors, and its difficalty in accurately predicting has long been a key issue restricting the development of the industrial protection field. This paper summarizes and analyzes the existing problems in current accelerated aging tests of coatings, focuses on the influence mechanisms of various factors in the marine environment on coating aging, and further discusses the technical shortcomings of coating service life prediction methods in practical applications, aiming to provide references and insights for researchers in related fields and promote the further development of technologies in the marine engineering field.
