Abstract: In this work,field tests and laboratory measurements were conducted to investigate the performance of magnesium sacrificial anode cathodic protection (CP) system of Beijing Gas Group Company Limited.Based on the results of field tests and laboratory measurements,the factors affecting the performance of magnesium sacrificial anodes were analyzed,which may provide important reference for the operation maintaining and life prediction of sacrificial anode CP system of city gas pipelines.
