An Anti-decarburization Coating for Bearing Steel at High-temperatures

摘要: 以凹凸棒石粘土(ATP)为主要成分制成的保护涂料对GCr15轴承钢进行高温防脱碳试验, 并采用金相观察和XRD分析对涂料的保护效果和机理进行了研究。结果表明, 该涂料能够显著降低GCr15的脱碳层深度; 并且随着保温时间延长和加热温度升高, 涂料防脱碳性能仍然保持良好。该涂料通过形成致密覆盖层以及涂料中SiC的氧化反应达到对钢材防脱碳作用。Abstract: The decarburization resistance experiments of a coating mainly composed of attapulgite for GCr15 bearing steel were conducted. The performance and mechanism of decarburization resistance of the coating at high temperatures were investigated by optical microscopy and x-ray diffraction analysis. The results indicated that the coating could reduce the depth of decarburization layer significantly. The anti-decarburization performance of the coating kept very well even with the extension of the holding time and the increase of heating temperature. The protection of the coating was obtained by the formation of a dense layer on the surface of the alloy and the oxidation of SiC inside the coating.
