Abstract: The high performance anticorrosion coatings of pipelines play an important role in the system which ensures the effective operation of pipelines. This paper introduces the principle, method and experiment effect of the cooling repair, and elaborats the technical advantage of the cooling repair method in summer pipeline overhaul. It is proved that the experiments of the cooling repair method can reach the requirements for the buried pipeline coating performance. At the same time, it is safe and economical for the update of anticorrosion layers on failed pipelines.
