Abstract: The contents of aluminum in the mechanically plated zinc and aluminum coatings were measured by means of chromazurol S spectrophotometer.The sectional morphology of coating and distribution of aluminum in coating surface were observed using SEM and X-ray fluorescence spectrometer.The content of aluminum increased and the distribution of aluminum in coating surface was uniform by the adding of rare earth in the process of the mechanical zinc and aluminum plating.
