Abstract: A large volume of contaminants such as greaser and iron power etc exist on the surface of cold-rolled steel sheets, and need to be removed by degeasing. Therefore, the performance evaluation of degreasers is very important to degreaser application. The evaluation methods for comprehensive properties connected closely with the practiced application of degreasers were established, which could offer technical support for degreaser application. Performance of three kinds of degreaser was estimated via methods mentioned above. Results showed that 2# degreaser exhibited superior comprehensive properties for application.
