Corrosion Analysis and Structural Optimization of Outlet Manifold Blind Plate

Abstract
Aiming at the corrosion status of a refinery reformer unit four-in-one furnace outlet collecting pipe blind flange,the corrosion mechanism was analyzed,and then a numerical simulation using FLUENT software was coducted,to analyze the velocity vector diagram and vorticity cloud diagram of the outlet manifold blind plate before and after the structure improvment,It is concluded that the structure after optimization and in conformity with the present situation of corrosion could effectively avoid the corrosion of outlet manifold blind flanges.Whether the improved blind plate structrue has an effect on the furnace tube flow distribution was discussed.
