Failure Analysis of Black Spots on a Launcher Shell

The quality of air-to air missile's launcher plays a vital role on the carrier and missile.The black spots on a launcher rail,which is the main structure of eject apparatus,were analyzed.It was found that the large cutting amount and low precision for forming cutting of the launcher rail caused severe erosion and impurities' attachment,which changed anodic oxidation condition and formed black holes on oxide film.
