    Corrosion Evaluation and Morphology Analysis of 2024 Aluminum Alloy in Salt Spray

    • The corrosion behaviors of 2024 aluminum alloy under the influence of relative humidity,concentration and temperature were studied in salt spray. Range analysis revealed that the relative humidity had the greatest influence on the corrosion of 2024 aluminum alloy. The relative humidity had a significant influence on the depth of corrosion pit,especially. The fuzzy comprehensive evaluation was used to evaluate the corrosion degree of the alloy in environments with 84%,90%,100% relative humidity,respectively. The corrosion degrees of the three alloys were Ⅱ,Ⅲ,Ⅳ,respectively. Metallographic analysis was used to analyze the surface of the alloy. It showed that the main corrosion type of the alloy was intergranular corrosion. With the increase of the relative humidity,the corrosion degree increased gradually.
