Abstract
A series of simulated solution of saline soil was settled according to the classification of saline soil, and the effect of the ratio of chloride ion to sulfate ion on corrosion behavior of reinforcing steel under dry-wet cycle condition was investigated by polarization curves, and an ion diffusion device was also utilized to discuss about the diffusion feature of chloride ion in concrete in the presence of sulfate ion. The results showed that saline soil environment had a strong effect on corrosion of reinforced concrete. The corrosion degrees of reinforced concrete in different saline soil environments were different. Corrosion rates of reinforcement in chlorine saline soil and sub chlorine saline soil were heavier;and sulfate had a promoting effect on chloride diffusion within a certain concentration range, which corresponded to the electrochemical results well.
