Abstract
The corrosion performance of A106B and A672B60 carbon steels in ammonia water solution and ethanolamine water solution was investigated using simulation circulation loop. The corrosion rate and corrosion product release rate of A106B and A672B60 in ethanolamine water solution were lower than those in ammonia water solution. The corrosion rate and corrosion product release rate of A672B60 were lower than those of A106B in ethanolamine water solution and ammonia water solution. The results of scanning electron microscopy showed that the surface morphology of A106B and A672B60 in ammonia water solution was loose and porous. The results of potentiodynamic polarization and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy displaed that A106B and A672B60 in ethanolamine water solution had lower reactivity and better corrosion resistance.
