Structure and Discussion of Regional Cathodic Protection System in Oil-gas Stations

    • Regional cathodic protection is a corrosion protection technology which is mainly used in intensive areas of underground pipe network and mesh metal structures. When a regional cathodic protection system in oil-gas stations is constructed, the protected objects are not a single one but a complex system which consists of crossed underground pipe network, grounding network and tank bottom. The regional cathodic protection systems in a union station and in a natural gas plant are compared, the difference of regional cathodic protection systems are discussed from the design and construction technology, the setting principle of sacrificial anode block is peresented. The best protection effect of regional cathodic protection is explored.
