Abstract
The geothermal well situation in Henan area was simulated to study corrosion behaviors of carbon steel Q235, Q245R, Q345R and low-alloy steel J55. High temperature high pressure kettle was adopted to simulate the working conditions, and the corrosion behaviors were observed by means of macroscopic observation, SEM, EDS and XRD. The results showed that the corrosion rate of the steel materials was minimum in Lankao geothermal water. Q235 had the strongest corrosion resistant ability to geothermal water in all experimented materials and could be on alternative meterial for oil casing in geothermal CO2 condition.
