Abstract
The electrochemical behaviors of 316LN stainless steel in H3BO3+LiOH solution with different pH and Cl- contents were studied by potentiodynamic polarization and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS). The results show that 316LN stainless steel had a wide passive anodic region in all solutions with different pH and Cl- contents. With the increase of pH, the pitting potential increased, the passivation current decreased and the charge transfer resistance increased of 316LN stainless steel. With the increase of Cl- content, the pitting potential decreased, the passivation current increased and the charge transfer resistance decreased of the stainless steel.
