Abstract
The corrosion behaviors of different hydraulic cylinder steel specimens were studied by polarization curve and immersion test in emulsified liquid prepared by different concentrations of emulsified liquid and different types of water was investigated. The results showed that the high concentration of chloride ions in the Daliuta water led to deduction of steels′ resistance to pitting corrosion. With the increase of the concentration of concentrated solution, the pitting corrosion potential increased, the number of pitting reduced, the emulsified liquid inhibition efficiency increased. With high contents of alloy elements, 5# steel showed high corrosion resistance than other steels.
