Application of Current Requirement Test to Mitigation of DC Transit Stray Current Interference

    • Mitigation of DC transit stray current interference is one of the challenges faced by pipeline industry. In this study impressed current cathoclic protection (ICCP) was tried to mitigate the DC interference from DC transit system, using enhanced CP current as a counteract measure to prevent corrosion. Current requirement test is an optimal method to choose the anode site and output parameters for ICCP system to get an optimized mitigation result.
