Abstract
The effect of different electrolytic parameters (current density, temperature of electrolyte, nitric acid concentration, Cr6+ concentration) on the corrosion rate of high silicon cast iron was studied by the method of weight loss in the process of electrolytic corrosion, and the gray correlation analysis was used to rank the correlation extent of affecting factors on the corrosion rate of high silicon cast iron samples. The results showed that the current density and the temperature of electrolyte had the major effect on the corrosion rate of high silicon cast iron samples, and nitric acid concentration, Cr6+ concentration affected less. So the current density and the temperature of electrolyte should become the primary limited factor in the daily operation of high silicon cast iron anode plates.
