Abstract
Pt/Ti electrodes as an excellent anti-corrosion complex material are wildly used for marine and underground cathodic protection, chemistry industry and electronic industry. According to the thickness and morphology of Pt layer, explosive combination and electroplating methods are used for fabricating Pt/Ti electrodes. The electrochemical properties of Pt/Ti electrodes prepared by explosive combination method were investigated, the morphology and interface were studied by scanning electron microscopy. The results show that the morphology of Pt layer played an important role in the electrochemical properties of Pt/Ti electrodes. The surface of Pt/Ti electrode prepared by explosive combination method was dense. There were obvious machining lines along the rolling direction on the surface of Pt/Ti electrodes prepared by explosive combination method, which improved the self-corrosion potentials. But Pt layer on the particle suface of Pt/Ti electrode prepared by electroplating method distributed as particles and owed relatively good surface activity.
