Survey and Mitigation of Interference on Fujian LNG Pipeline

In order to solve the stray current interference problem near the Fujian LNG pipeline ZZ002 test pile, the stray current source was found by combined several methods, including CIPS, DCVG and potential detection. The interference was eliminated by turning off the stray current source and then the negative shift of potential disappeared. The strength of the interference was analyzed and computed. The contrast was completed between the computed data and the field data. It is confirmed that the combination of time potential monitoring means, CIPS, DCVG and potential detection can effectively find the stray current interference sources.
