Abstract
The influence of AC stray current, temperature, pH and chloride ion concentration on grade X52 airport oil supply pipeline steel corrosion was studied by means of polarization curves and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy. The experimental results show that the corrosion rate of X52 steel in the presence of AC stray current was faster than that without the interference, and it increased with the increase of interference voltage. At 15V AC voltage, the corrosion rate changed with the variation of temperature, pH value and chloride ion concentration. And the corrosion products had significant changes in these three cases. The best protection potential for the oil supply pipeline should be within the range of -987- -1 006 mV (SCE), and the corrosion process is controlled by anodic reaction.
