    Progress in Research on Corrosion Resistance of Biomedical Magnesium Alloys

    • Magnesium alloy is a kind of very promising biodegradable medical material because of excellent mechanical properties, biocompatibility, especially biodegradable characteristics. The process in research on biomedical magnesium alloys are reviewed. The degradation mechanism in vivo, and the methods for improving the corrosion resistance of magnesium alloys are explained. Research methods for corrosion resistance of magnesium alloys are introduced. And the problems and development trends in research are pointed out.
