Application of PFA Coating to Alumina Evaporator

The surface condition and coating-metal interace of PFA coating were observed by metallographic microscope and scanning electron microscope (SEM). The bonding strength between coating and metal substrate was tested. The alumina evaporator real working environment was simulated in the experiment,and the performance about the corrosion resistance, heat resistance and stress corrosion resistance of PFA coating were tested, The results show that various properties of the coating can meet requirements of the alumina evaporator. Therefore, PFA coating can be used in alumina evaporator.
