Abstract
The electrochemical performances of B10, B30 copper alloys and pure iron were tested in simulated marine environment. Sacrificial anode performances of pure iron were measured by constant current experiment and its feasibility of cathodic protection for B10 and B30 copper alloys was further analyzed by galvanic corrosion experiment. The results show that the free corrosion potential of pure iron is lower than that of B10 and B30 copper alloys, and pure iron has good sacrificial anode performance, steady working potential and high current efficiency. In galvanic corrosion experiment, pure iron acts as the anode material, it greatly inhibits the crossion of B10 and B30 copper alloys and has a positive effect on cathodic protection.
