Abstract
In order to study the influences of fluid in natural gas gathering pipeline on corrosion inhibition of organic amine, a corrosion test was simulated in home-made dynamic multiphase flow autoclave with flow rate of 5m/s in the conditions of fluid and no fluid in gathering pipe. Besides, electrochemical methods and contact angle measurements were also used to analyze the corrosion behavior. The results show that at the presence of fluid in gathering pipe, the corrosion rate of pipe materials increased greatly, the inhibition efficiency of organic amine decreased and the probability of pitting corrosion on the sample surface increased. Rational design of the location of each facility, pipeline direction and proper monitoring were recommended to minimize the gap between the pipes, thus reducing the formation of fluid in pipes. And inhibitor with anti-erosion effect should be used.
