Abstract
Two kinds of mannich base inhibitors AJ and BJ were synthesized using formaldehyde/benzaldehyde, acetophenone and hydrazine hydrateas as raw materials. The corrosion inhibition of these two kinds of inhibitors to N80 steel in 15 wt.% HCl solution was investigated by means of static weight loss method and electrochemical testing. The results show that both AJ and BJ had good corrosion inhibition to N80 steel in HCl solution, and the later was better than the former. These two kinds of inhibitors were all belong to anodic corrosion inhibitor, and were able to adsorb on the surface of N80 steel spontaneously. And the adsorption of both AJ and BJ follows Langmuir isotherm law.
