Abstract
Taking the acidic soil in southern china as a reference, indoor accelerated corrosion testing in simulated acidic soil environment prepared using diatomite was performed. X-ray diffractometer, scanning electron microscopy and electrochemical workstation were used to research the corrosion behavior of X65 pipeline steel buried in simulated soil conosion environment for different periods. The results show that the corrosion morphology of X65 pipeline steel developed from non-uniform pitting corrosion to uniform corrosion in the simulated soil environment. The polarization curves showed an anodic active controlled behavior and the free corrosion potential shifted positivly. The corrosion products were mainly composed of α-FeOOH, Fe3O4 and Fe2O3.
