Evaluation Methods of Anticorrosion Layer and Cathodic Protection of HDD Pipeline

Directional drilling technology has been widely used in pipeline construction projects. Because of the limitation of construction technology for horizontal directional drilling (HDD) pipeline, it is hard to evaluate the anticorrosion layer and cathodic protection effect to the HDD pipeline through routine test. The current evaluation methods of anticorrosion layer and cathodic protection of HDD pipeline at home and abroad are summarized, and the research trend of the evaluation methods of HDD pipeline is discussed.
