Effect of Temperature on Corrosion Behavior of 3 kinds of Cr Steel

Abstract
Corrosion test was carried out in simulated oilfield corrosion environment using an autoclave, and the corrosion rates of 1Cr, 3Cr, 13Cr steels were tested at different temperatures. The characteristics of samples were analyzed by X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy. The results show that the maximum corrosion rate of 1Cr steel was 7.515 mm/a at 80 ℃; the maximum corrosion rate of 3Cr steel was 4.339 mm/a at 80 ℃. The corrosion rate of 13Cr steel increased with increasing the temperature, the corrosion rate increased rapidly when the temperature was higher than 110 ℃. 1Cr and 3Cr steels exhibited more localized corrosion while 13 Cr steel showed the excellent corrosion resistance at different temperatures in the whole experiment.
