Leakage Reasons for Plate Heat Exchanger in Nuclear Power Plant

Erosion corrosion test was used to study the leakage reason for a plate heat exchanger in a nuclear power plant. The results revealed that the direct cause of perforation was the high sand contents in sea water. And the root cause of perforation was the deposition of sand in the flow channel, resulting in a narrow channel, which makes the flow rate increase.
