    Performance of Mg-Zn-Cu Series Alloy as Anodic Material for Magnesium Battery

    • There are some problems such as low discharge voltage, low discharge capacity and poor stability of discharge in magnesium battery, in which AZ31 alloy is served as cathode. Mg-Zn-Cu series alloy was chosen as a research object, the effects of alloying elements on the electrochemical performance and discharge performance of Mg-Zn-Cu series alloy were investigated by XRD, SEM, electrochemical tests and constant current discharge tests. The results showed that Mg-2.00Zn-1.87Cu (wt.%) magnesium alloy had higher stable discharge voltage, larger discharge capacity and better discharging performance than AZ31 alloy.
