    The Process and Property of Low-Carbon Steel Treated by Quench-Bluing

    • The process of quench-bluing treatment on low-carbon steel was introduced. The thickness, crystal structure, continuity, wear resistance and corrosion resistance of the blue oxide film were evaluated by scanning electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction, drip experiment, wipe test, electrochemical test and salt spray test. The results show that quench-bluing process is easy to operate, the thin film has beautiful color and the performances of film are excellent.
