    Analysis of Aging Failure of 3PE Heat Shrinkable Sleeve and Improvement Measures

    • The effects of wet and heat aging on corrosion protection of different types of 3PE heat shrinkable sleeve used in joint coating were studied by hot-water soak method. The results reveal that the acid anhydride groups in hot melt adhesive would accelerate the failure of the 3PE heat shrinkable sleeve; and the curing degree of the primer of dry film coating was superior to that of wet film coating.
