Abstract
Serious corrosion occurring at tank roof is usually caused by CO2, O2 and H2S in the gas phase of crude oil storage tank. Volatile corrosion inhibitor was injected into the storage tank by ultrasonic atomization. The effects of spray concentration and spraying time interval on the corrosion in gas phase were studied. The results showed that the addition of nitric acid dicyclohexylamine by spraying could play a good anti-corrosion effect. For a comprehensive economic and anti-corrosive effect, the optimal concentration of spray inhibitor was 200 mg/L, spray time interval was 24 h, the corrosion rate was much lower than 0.076 mm/a, the corrosion inhibition efficiency reacheed 92.71%.
