Development and Property of an Anticorrosive Epoxy Coating for Marine Environment

Bisphenol A (E-20) and bisphenol F (E-58) blend resin worked as the base resin for epoxy coatings, phenalkamine worked as a curing agent for epoxy coatings, an epoxy coating for anticorrosion protection in marine environment was prepared. The properties of the coating were test according to NORSOK M501 standard, the results showed that the epoxy coating had excellent seawater and cathodic disbondment resistance.
