    Detection and Protection of AC Stray Current of Yulin-Jinan Natural Gas Pipeline

    • Based on the research achievements of AC stray current at home and abroad, the current criteria and common detection methods for AC stray current interference in natural gas pipelines were described. The status of AC stray current interference in the JLS110-JFY127 section of the Yulin-Jinan natural gas pipeline was introduced. The bare copper wire was selected as the grounding electrode and the solid state decoupler was used for the drainage construction. HC-069 storage stray current tester was used to continuously monitor the AC pipe-to-soil potentials of the 11 test piles, and the AC voltage and AC current density before and after discharge were compared and analyzed. The results showed that the solid-state decoupling technology had good drainage effect, and could provide reference for the future treatment of AC interference.
