Cathodic Protection Design for Large Oil Depots Ever Built

    • The cathodic protection current in station area drained seriously, the potential distribution was uneven, and there were problems such as interference and shielding. Aiming at the cathodic protection design of a large-scale built oil depot, the application of feeding test in determining the current density of large-scale oil depots was emphasized from the aspects of current density determination, anode bed selection and selection of key equipment. The use of a reasonably distributed shallow buried anode bed can solve the interference and shielding problems. The synchronous on-off of the potentiostat and the application of intelligent potential acquisition system can greatly facilitate the management and maintenance of the regional cathodic protection system.
