Comprehensive Evaluation of Corrosive Factors Based on Analytic Hierarchy Process

    • In view of the high humid and high salt fog marine atmosphere environment problems, analytic hierarchy process (AHP) was applied to completely evaluate the corrosive factors of equipment and facilities. The analytic hierarchy process model was established by building the hierarchy structure of evaluation indexes and judgment matrix construction according to qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis. The metal equipment in semi-closed area was studied as an example for the model application in index weight value determination of corrosive factors. Consistency test results showed that the weights of evaluation indexes were reasonable and accurate.Research showed that analytic hierarchy process was helpful to determine relative importance of various factors on equipment corrosion and provide the theoretic foundation for corrosion protection measure selection in hot and humid salt fog environments.
