    Evaluation and Application of High Performance Alloy Coating in Su 203 Well Area

    • Su 203 block was developed in 2011. At present, it faced major corrosion problems, which seriously affected the normal mining and operation of gas fields. It is imperative to find an anti-corrosion measure suitable for the production conditions of the Su 203 well area. The corrosion of the Su 203 well area was investigated, and a high-performance alloy coating was evaluated for indoor and field applications. The results show that the corrosion situation of Su 203 well was serious, the highest corrosion rate was 2.3 mm/a, and the phenomenon of perforation occurred. The high-performance alloy coating had good hardness, wear resistance and corrosion resistance, and it could significantly reduce the corrosion rate of samples. The average corrosion rate of the high-performance alloy coating was only 3.84% to 4.54% of uncoated samples. After replacing the water transfer pipeline in the 19 station of Sunan as a high-performance alloy coating pipeline, the phenomenon that the wall thickness was significantly thinned was not found, indicating that the high-performance alloy coating had good corrosion resistance and could be popularized in the Su 203 well area.
