    Current Status and Development Trend of Anti-corrosion Technology for Steel Structures in Coastal Power Plants

    • Traditional zinc-rich coatings and hot-dip galvanizing technologies can not meet the anti-corrosion requirements of steel structures in coastal power plants,so for new anti-corrosion technologies low energy consumption,no pollution and low cost become a trend.The corrosion status of steel structures in power plants in coastal areas of China is reviewed.The current status and existing problems of several anti-corrosion technologies,including coating,hot-dip galvanizing,thermal spraying,weathering steel,cathodic protection and composite materials are introduced.Based on the development situation,graphene heavy-duty anti-corrosion coating,thermal spraying and new composite materials will gradually become the trend instead of traditional anti-corrosion technologies.
