    Research Progress on Corrosion and Protection of CO2 and H2S in Oil and Gas Pipeline

    • In view of the corrosion problem of oil and gas pipelines, the research status, corrosion mechanism and corrosion law of CO2 corrosion and H2S corrosion in oil and gas pipelines are introduced. The problems in the research of CO2 and H2S synergistic corrosion are analyzed. The common pipeline anti-corrosion methods are introduced, such as adding corrosion inhibitor, using corrosion-resistant alloy steel, applying electrochemical anti-corrosion technology and coat the inner coating of pipeline, etc. The research progress and existing problems of those methods are summarized.
