    Corrosion Inhibition of Polycarboxylic Acid Corrosion Inhibitor to Boiler Steel

    • The corrosion resistance of polycarboxylic acid corrosion inhibitor WH-151 to DIWA353 steel and 20G steel was studied through liquid proof test, protective simulation test and electrochemical test. The results show that WH-151 corrosion inhibitor formed a dense corrosion inhibitor film on the surfaces of DIWA353 steel and 20G steel through physical and chemical reaction, which effectively inhibited anodic and cathodic processes in electrochemical corrosion of metal and improved the corrosion resistance of two test steels. In practical applications, the corrosion inhibition efficiency could be maintained above 90% after initial pre-coating, and the higher the corrosion inhibitor content, the denser the formed film layer and the better the corrosion inhibition effect.
