Applicability of Anti-corrosion Coatings for New Type Ground Gathering Pipelines

Abstract
A high-temperature and high-pressure reactor was used to simulate on-site corrosion environment of Tahe oilfield with high salinity and high H2S and CO2. The protective properties of JG-01 acid-resistant coating and EP-98 epoxy solvent-free coating were studied by testing the physical properties of coating, pencil hardness, adhesion, leak point and impact resistance after high temperature and high pressure corrosion test. The results showed that after 30 days of testing, the surface of EP-98 epoxy solvent-free coating foamed and failed; the physical properties of JG-01 acid-resistant coating were unchanged. After the high temperature and high pressure corrosion test, the polarization curve of the JG-01 acid-resistant coating showed obvious passivation, the corrosion current density was basically unchanged, and still had a very high polarization resistance. JG-01 acid-resistant coating has good corrosion resistance in this environment.
