    Influence Parameters of HVDC Transmission System on Corrosion of Buried Metal Pipelines

    • By analyzing the mechanism of DC interference of HVDC transmission system to buried oil and gas pipelines, the parameters affecting corrosion of pipeline metal materials were investigated and analyzed according to the characteristics of grounding electrode earthing current and different environmental conditions. The parameters that determine the corrosive effect of grounding electrode on the corrosion of pipelines are pipe material, soil resistivity, soil pH, simulated soil solution, leakage current density and duration.
