Abstract
The electromagnetic interference of low and medium speed maglev train on a buried pipeline was evaluated using 48 hour remote transmission monitoring, 24 h flat iron-to-ground potential test, field buried test and laboratory simulation test. The results show that the difference between the on-potentials at the intersections or distant points of the magnetic levitation orbit and pipeline was small. At the pier of magnetic levitation viaduct, the potential of the ground flat iron to ground was about -0.68 V. With the passage of the magnetic levitation train, the potential of the flat iron to the ground did not shift significantly. The difference of both corrosion morphology and corrosion rates of test specimens buried in different positions were relatively small, and magnetic levitation had little interference on the electric and magnetic fields of the buried pipeline.
