Smart Management System for Regional Cathodic Protection in Stations

An intelligent measurement and management program for regional cathodic protection (CP) system was developed. In this program the remote monitoring of potentiostat operation and CP potential data, and the control of synchronous ON/OFF measurement modes were realized, and an automated and visualized solution for CP data evaluation was provided. The management level of the regional cathodic protection system was improved. The program was tested in a typical domestic oil and gas station and had achieved good results, which could provide reference for the comprehersive managemebt of the cathodic protection system in the station area.
