Effect of High Temperature Pre-Precipitation Heat Treatment Process on Stress Corrosion of 7N01 Aluminum Alloy

    • A heat treatment process of high temperature pre-precipitation (470 ℃×1 h+400 ℃×30 min+120 ℃×24 h) was conducted on 7N01 aluminum alloy in T4 heat treatment state. And slow strain rate testing (SSRT) was used to study the effects of high temperature pre-precipitation heat treatment on the stress corrosion cracking (SCC) resistance of 7N01 aluminum alloy in T4 heat treatment state. The results show that high temperature pre-precipitation process could obviously improve the SCC resistance, ductility and could maintain high tensile strength for 7N01 aluminum alloy in T4 heat treatment state.
