    Optimization of Sacrificial Anode Cathodic Protection System for Oil Pipeline Subsea Manifold

    • Through boundary element numerical simulation method, taking the same output current of each sacrificial anode as the optimization target, the sacrificial anode arrangement of subsea oil pipeline manifold was optimized. The results show that this method could ensure the output current of each sacrificial anode of subsea manifold was basically the same, and avoid the premature consumption of individual anode due to the excessive output current, so as to ensure the cathodic protection system can provide effective protection in the entire life cycle of the subsea manifold.
